Ghostbusters: Afterlife has two post-credit scenes. The first post-credit scene takes place during the credits and features the return of Slimer, who is now a friendly ghost. The second post-credit scene takes place after the credits and features the ghost of Egon Spengler (played by Harold Ramis) giving his grandson, Oscar, some words of wisdom.
What Happens in the First Post-Credit Scene?
In the first post-credit scene, we see Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and his mother, Dana (Carrie Coon), living in what seems to be a small town in Oklahoma. Trevor is playing with a ball in their yard when he hears a noise coming from the nearby Ecto-1 car. When he goes to investigate, he finds that the car has been fixed and is now working again. He then sees that his grandfather, Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), has also been resurrected and is now living with them.
What Happens in the Second Post-Credit Scene?
In the second post-credit scene, we see Mr. Grooberson ( Finn Wolfhard ) at school, where he’s apparently been telling his classmates about the events of the film. When they don’t believe him, he shows them a piece of the Ecto-1 , which he took with him when he left.
