PayPal Credit

PayPal Credit is a line of credit that you can use when shopping online at certain stores. If you have a PayPal account, you can sign up for PayPal Credit. Once you’re approved, you’ll have a credit limit that you can use for future purchases. You’ll need to make monthly payments, but you’ll have the flexibility to choose your own payment date. PayPal Credit can be used at certain online stores as well as in-store at some retailers.

What is PayPal Credit?

PayPal Credit is a financial service that allows you to use funds from your PayPal account to pay for purchases. You can either use it as a line of credit, or you can link it to your bank account and use it as a debit card. You can use PayPal Credit at most stores that accept PayPal, as well as some online retailers.

How to use PayPal Credit

When you apply for PayPal Credit, you’ll be asked to provide your date of birth, Social Security number and other personal information. This information is used to verify your identity and to help protect you from fraud.

To use PayPal Credit, simply choose it as your payment method at checkout on any participating retailer’s website. You’ll then be prompted to enter your PayPal Credit account information, including the card number and security code. Once your information is entered, you’ll be able to complete your purchase.

It’s important to note that PayPal Credit is not a credit card, but rather a line of credit that can be used for purchases at participating retailers. If you have any questions about how PayPal Credit works, or if you need help using it, you can contact PayPal Customer Service directly.

You can use PayPal Credit at almost any store that accepts major credit cards. That includes a lot of big retailers like Walmart, eBay, and Amazon, as well as smaller stores that use PayPal as their payment processor. You can also use it for online purchases from some stores that don’t accept PayPal, as long as you have a PayPal account and pay with your PayPal Credit balance.

Here’s a list of some of the places you can shop with PayPal Credit:

Walmart
eBay
Amazon
Staples
Home Depot
Lowe’s
Best Buy
Macy’s
Kohl’s
JCPenney

If you want to use PayPal Credit at a store that doesn’t accept it directly, you can still often do so by paying with your PayPal Credit balance through PayPal. When you check out on the retailer’s website, select PayPal as your payment method. Then log in to your PayPal account and pay with your PayPal Credit balance.

Physical Stores

PayPal Credit can be used at most stores that accept standard PayPal payments. When you’re ready to pay, just select PayPal Credit as your payment method at checkout and enter your birth date and the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. You’ll then be prompted to agree to the PayPal Credit terms, after which you’ll be able to complete your purchase. As with any other PayPal payment, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your transaction.

In order to use PayPal Credit in a store, the store must have a PayPal Here device. This is a small, portable card reader that connects to a smartphone or tablet and allows the user to swipe a credit or debit card, or even pay with cash, to make a purchase. The funds for the purchase are then transferred from the customer’s PayPal Credit account into the Merchant’s PayPal account.

While PayPal Here devices are common in many retail establishments, there are still some stores that do not have them. In these cases, it is still possible to use PayPal Credit by entering your credit card information manually at checkout.
