Doctor Strange 2 End Credit Scenes
The Mid-Credits Scene
The first end-credits scene comes midway through the credits (hence the name), and finds Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and his fellow sorcerers Wong (Benedict Wong) and Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) relaxing in a New York City park. It’s a lighthearted moment, but it sets up Mordo’s heel turn nicely — he laments how there are “too many sorcerers” in the world, and how they’re all “selfish” and only look out for themselves. He then steals a bunch of ancient artifacts from Kamar-Taj, which sets him up to be the villain of Doctor Strange 2.
The Post-Credits Scene
Doctor Strange 2 has two end credit scenes, one at the very end of the credits and one about halfway through.
The first scene shows Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) meeting with The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) in the astral plane. She warns him about Dormammu and tells him that he is not ready to face him yet. She also tells him that he needs to find another Sorcerer Supreme to take her place.
The second scene shows Thor (Chris Hemsworth) meeting with Doctor Strange on Earth. Thor is looking for his missing hammer, Mjolnir, and asks Strange for help finding it. However, Strange says that he cannot help because he is busy dealing with other things.
