How Many Credit Scenes Will Be in Spider-Man: No Way Home?

We’re all eagerly awaiting the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, but how many credit scenes will there be? We break down the possibilities!

Checkout this video:

Although the theatrical cut of Spider-Man: Far From Home ran for a total of 129 minutes, there were a whopping five credited scenes during or after the credits. With that in mind, fans are wondering how many credit scenes will be in Spider-Man: No Way Home?

From what we can tell, it seems likely that there will be at least two – and possibly even three – credited scenes in Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, we won’t know for sure until the movie is released in theaters.

The first credited scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home appears to come early on in the movie. In a recent trailer, we see Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Mary Jane Watson (Zendaya) talking on a roof top. MJ asks Peter if he’s “sure about this,” to which Peter replies, “I don’t think I have a choice.” It’s possible that this scene takes place shortly after Peter learns that he has to take on Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in order to prevent Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) from destroying Earth.

The second credited scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home could come at the very end of the movie. In the final moments of the most recent trailer, we see Peter Parker suited up asSpider-Man, standing next to Doctor Strange and Wong (Benedict Wong). It’s possible that this scene takes place after Peter has defeated Mysterio and Doctor Strange is thanking him for his help.

It’s also possible that there could be a third credited scene somewhere in the middle ofSpider-Man: No Way Home. We don’t know for sure, but it wouldn’t be surprising if there was at least one more scene during or after the credits.

What We Know About the Movie So Far

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to be released in December 2021 and will be the third movie in the Spider-Man Homecoming series. The movie will see Peter Parker (Tom Holland) return as the titular character, with Zendaya reprising her role as MJ. It has been confirmed that there will be at least one post-credits scene, but it is not yet known how many there will be in total.

The Title

The title for the upcoming movie has not been revealed, but there are many theories about what it will be. The most popular theory is that the title will be “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” This makes sense, as the last two movies in the franchise were “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” However, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Another theory is that the movie will be titled “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2,” as this would tie in with rumors that the film will feature multiple versions of Spider-Man. Again, nothing has been confirmed and this is merely a theory at this point.

We will have to wait for official confirmation from Marvel Studios before we know for sure what the title of the movie will be.

The Cast

Tom Holland returns as Spider-Man/Peter Parker, with Marisa Tomei and Zendaya also reprising their roles from previous MCU Spider-Man movies as Aunt May and MJ, respectively. Meanwhile, Tony Revolori will once again play Flash Thompson, Parker’s classmate and bully from previous films.

In addition to the returning cast, several new names have been added to the Spider-Man: No Way Home lineup. Jamie Foxx will be making his return as Electro, a role he previously played in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Benedict Cumberbatch will also join the cast as Doctor Strange, according to Cumberbatch himself, coming off of his role in last year’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Apart from those two confirmations, there have been a number of unconfirmed rumors about who else could appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. These include both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfieldreturning as their respective versions of Spider-Man from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy and Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man duology respectively. However, these rumors have not been confirmed by Marvel or Sony Pictures.

What the Credit Scenes Could Mean

If you stay until the very end of the credits of a Marvel movie, you’re used to being rewarded with a scene that teases what’s to come in the next installment of the superhero franchise. But how many scenes will there be in Spider-Man: No Way Home? And what do they mean?

A Sequel

The post-credits scene has become something of a staple in superhero movies, and it’s safe to say that fans are always on the lookout for clues about what the next installment in a franchise might entail. With that in mind, let’s take a look at what the credit scenes could mean for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

It’s possible that the first credit scene could introduce a new villain, or at least tease the next movie’s main antagonist. Given that this is a Spider-Man movie, it’s also possible that the scene could simply be a fun little Easter egg for fans to enjoy.

The second credit scene is usually reserved for a bigger reveal, such as setting up the next movie’s plot or introducing a new character. With Spider-Man: No Way Home being touted as the conclusion of the “Spider-Man trilogy,” it’s possible that this scene could be used to set up a potential spin-off movie or TV series.

Of course, there’s always the possibility that there won’t be any credit scenes at all! With so much already being revealed about Spider-Man: No Way Home, it’s possible that Sony and Marvel have decided to save any reveals for the actual movie. We’ll just have to wait and see!

A Spin-Off

It’s been confirmed that there will be at least two credit scenes in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and there are rumors that there could be more. So what do these scenes mean for the future of the franchise?

One theory is that one of the credit scenes could be setting up a spin-off movie, potentially featuring Venom or Morbius. This would make sense, as both characters are extremely popular and have their own movies in development.

Another theory is that one of the credit scenes could be a teaser for the next Spider-Man movie, which is rumored to be titled Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2. This would also make sense, as the first movie ended with a post-credits scene teasing the sequel.

Of course, it’s also possible that the credit scenes are simply standalone scenes that don’t necessarily have any significant meaning. We’ll just have to wait and see!

A Crossover

With the news that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be swinging into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a third solo outing, fans are wondering what sort of story they can expect to see. Could we see a crossover with other Spider-Man characters, like Venom or Miles Morales?

In conclusion, how many credit scenes will be in Spider-Man: No Way Home? is still unknown, but we are hopeful that the movie will have at least one post-credits scene.
