Enter your email address

You will need to enter the email address that you used to apply for your PPP loan. Once you have entered your email address, you will be taken to a page where you will be able to see your loan number.

Check your email for a message from the SBA

The SBA will send you an email when your loan is approved. This email will include your loan number, as well as instructions for next steps. If you can’t find the email from the SBA, check your spam folder. You can also contact the SBA directly at 1-800-659-2955 for assistance.

Once you are logged in, you will see a list of all of the loans that have been approved for your business. Each loan will have a unique ID number. This is the number that you will need when applying for forgiveness.

Click “Submit”

If you have not yet submitted your Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan application, you will not have a loan number yet. To submit your PPP loan application, visit the SBA’s website and click “Apply Now.”

If you have already submitted your PPP loan application, you can find your loan number in the SBA’s online system. To access the online system, visit the SBA’s website and click “Log In.” Once you are logged in, click “Find Existing Application” and select “Paycheck Protection Program.” When you find your application, the loan number will be listed under the “Application Number” column.

Your loan number will be displayed on the screen

If you received an SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan from a participating lender, you should have received information from the lender about your loan. This may have included your loan number, or at least information on how to find it.

If you can’t find your loan number or don’t have any of the material that was sent to you by the lender, don’t worry. There are a few ways you can figure out what your loan number is.

One way is to log into the online account you set up with your lender when you applied for the loan. If you can’t remember how to do this, call the customer service number for your lender and they should be able to help you. Once you’re logged in, look for information on your PPP loan. The account should list all of your loans from the lender, so make sure you’re looking at the right one. The loan number will be displayed on the screen.

Another way to find your SBA PPP loan number is to look at any documents related to your loan. This might include emails, faxes, or even a physical copy of the check if you received one. The SBA PPP loan number will be listed on all of these documents.

If you still can’t find your SBA PPP loan number, call the customer service number for your lender and they should be able to help you locate it.
