To start, you’ll need to log in to your account. Once you’re logged in, select the account for your Store Card or Amazon Prime Store Card from the “My Accounts” drop down menu. Then select “Activity & Statements.”

Next to each transaction on your statement, you’ll see a link that says “dispute this charge.” Select that link, and then answer the questions on the next page. Be sure to have your order number handy so you can fill out the form accurately.

If we find that the charge was valid, we’ll send you a letter explaining our decision. If we determine that the charge was incorrect, we’ll credit your account for the full amount of the charge within two billing cycles.

When you call, have your account information and order number handy and be ready to explain what the problem is and why you’re disputing the charge.
