Venom (2018)
Venom is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel and Tencent Pictures. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script by Jeff Pinkner, Scott Rosenberg, and Kelly Marcel, and stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom.
Post-credits scene
In the comics, Venom is an anti-hero, so it makes sense that the film would leave things open for him to return as a force for good. And that’s exactly what happens in the post-credits scene.
We see Eddie (Tom Hardy) in a mental hospital, visited by Dr. Carlton (Reid Scott). Eddie is still struggling to control the Venom symbiote, and it’s clear that he’s not doing well. But then we see a flash of news on a television in the background: the symbiote has bonded with someone else.
It’s not clear who this new host is, but there are a few possibilities. It could be someone from the comics who hasn’t been introduced yet, or it could be a completely new character. Whoever it is, they’re going to need all the help they can get to control the powerful and dangerous Venom.

After the credits, there is a scene in whichSpider-Manis seen sitting in a restaurant withMJand Ned. Mysterio’s Journal is seen on the table in front of him, with a picture of Gwen Stacy inside, much to Peter’s shock.

Venom 2 is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Venom, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel. The film is directed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay by Kelly Marcel and Will Beall and stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady / Carnage, and Michelle Williams as Anne Weying.
Post-credits scene
After the credits, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is seen driving in a black car. He then gets a call from Dr. Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed), who tells Eddie that he needs his help with something. Eddie then agrees to help him.
In a post-credits scene, Carlton is seen talking to someone on the phone. He says that they need to “bring her in”, referring to Venom.
