There are a total of three post-credits scenes in Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The first scene features an extended look at the relationship between Shang Chi and his father. The second scene introduces the character of the Mandarin, played by Tony Leung. The third and final scene teases the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Shang-Chi. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a script by Cretton, Dave Callaham and Jon Watts, and stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, along with Awkwafina, Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Michelle Yeoh, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.
In September 2018, Marvel Studios announced that a film based on Shang-Chi was in development as part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Destin Daniel Cretton was hired to direct in April 2019, while Callaham and Watts were hired to rewrite the script in October 2019. Liu was cast as Shang-Chi that December after an extensive global casting search. By February 2020, Awkwafina, Yeoh and Shipka had joined the cast; while Chen joined two months later. Principal photography began in Australia in February 2020 and concluded in July 2020.
Shang Chi is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 9, 2021.

The first scene shows Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) returning home to San Francisco to visit his sister, Shang-Chi ( Crystal Liu Yifei). While there, he gets a call from a mystery person asking for help.
The second scene is a quick one and takes place in the present day. It shows the ancient One-Above-All (the MCU’s version of God) talking to Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) about the Infinity Stones and how they must be protected.
The third and final scene is a mid-credits scene that introduces us to the new MCU version of the villain The Mandarin (Tony Leung). He is seen giving a speech to a group of people, telling them that they need to be willing to fight and die for what they believe in.
