How many after credit scenes are there in Dr. Strange?
At the time of this writing, there are two after credit scenes in Dr. Strange. The first one comes right after the credits start rolling, and shows Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) meeting with Thor (Chris Hemsworth). They discuss Loki’s (Tom Hiddleston) whereabouts, and Strange says he will look into it. The second scene comes at the very end of the credits, and shows Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) visiting one of the Sanctums to take away its power source. He says that there are too many sorcerers in the world, and that he plans to fix that problem.
What are they about?
There are two after credit scenes in Dr. Strange. The first one shows Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) stealing a bunch of ancient relics from various museums around the world. The second one is a bit more lighthearted, showing Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) sitting down for tea with The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton).
What do they mean for the future of the MCU?
The number of after credit scenes in Dr. Strange has been a hot topic of debate among fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Some believe that there are two scenes, while others believe there is only one. The debate largely stems from the fact that the scenes appear to be set in different time periods, with one taking place in the present day and the other in the future.
So what do these after credit scenes mean for the future of the MCU? It’s difficult to say for sure, but they definitely seem to hint at some big things to come. The first scene, which takes place in the present day, sees Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) meeting with Thor (Chris Hemsworth). This could suggest that Strange will play a role in Thor: Ragnarok, which is currently filming and is due for release in 2017.
The second scene, which appears to be set in the future, sees Dr. Strange meeting with someone who could be either Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) from Mission: Impossible or Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). This could suggest that Strange will have a role to play in either Mission: Impossible 6 or Avengers: Infinity War, both of which are currently in development.
Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that the after credit scenes in Dr. Strange are sure to get fans talking about the future of the MCU for years to come.
