You can do this by signing into iTunes and going to the “Account” tab. From here, you will be able to view and manage your payment methods. iTunes uses your credit card as the default payment method for your Apple ID. If you have an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account, you might have had a credit card associated with your Apple ID.
If you want to change your payment method, or if you don’t want to use a credit card with your Apple ID, you can change your payment information from your device or from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store.
If you’re using Family Sharing and want to change the credit card that’s used for all purchases and in-app purchases made by family members, you can change the payment method for the entire family.
You can’t remove a payment method if it’s the last one that you have on file or if it’s being used for a subscription, such as an active Apple Music subscription. If none of your payment methods can be used for a new purchase, or if iTunes is having trouble charging your credit card, learn what to do.
Enter your Apple ID password
Open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID. Click on your name in the upper-left corner, then select “Account Info” from the drop-down menu. On the Account Information page, scroll down to the “iTunes in the Cloud” section and click “Manage.” If prompted, enter your password again.
Click on the “Payment Method” drop-down menu and select “None.” You may need to enter your password one more time before finally being taken to the next screen. Here, you should see a message saying that you have no payment method on file.
