‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ is set to be one of the most anticipated films of 2021. One of the things that fans are most curious about is how many post-credit scenes the film will have.

Although we don’t know for sure how many post-credit scenes ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ will have, we can make an educated guess based on previous films in the franchise. ‘Spiderman: Homecoming’ and ‘Spiderman: Far From Home’ both had two post-credit scenes, so it’s likely that ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ will have at least two as well.

The First Post-Credit Scene

After the events of “Spiderman: Far From Home,” Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is trying to get his life back to normal. He’s back in school and has to deal with rumors about his involvement with Spiderman, as well as the fact that his best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) knows his secret. But things are about to get even more complicated for Peter.

In the first post-credit scene, we see Peter in his bedroom, looking at pictures of himself with Ned and MJ (Zendaya). Suddenly, his Spider-Sense starts tingling and he looks out the window to see a figure in a black hoodie standing on the edge of the building across the street. The figure jumps off the building and starts swinging towards Peter’s apartment, causing him to duck out of the way. The figure removes its hoodie to reveal that it is Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Mysterio then uses his illusion powers to make it look like he is Peter Parker, causing Peter to freak out and run out of the apartment.

The second post-credit scene shows us what happened after Mysterio unmasked Spiderman in “Far From Home.” We see news footage of Peter being accused of beingSpiderman and we see him being questioned by Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau). Happy tells Peter that he needs to go into hiding until they can clear his name.

The third post-credit scene shows us a conversation between Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders). Fury is angry that Hill didn’t tell him about Mysterio’s illusions earlier and she tries to defend herself. Fury then gets a call from someone who tells him that they have found someone who can help clear Spider-Man’s name.

The fourth and final post-credit scene shows us Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) meeting with someone in an alleyway. He hands them a piece of paper with an address on it and tells them that they need to go there. The person asks if this is where they will find Spider-Man and Doctor Strange says that it is where they will find “the multiverse’s only hope.”

The Second Post-Credit Scene

The second post-credit scene shows Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and MJ (Zendaya) talking on a roof. Spider-Man is trying to figure out his place in the world and MJ tells him that he doesn’t need to be a hero all the time. They then share a kiss.

The Third Post-Credit Scene

The third post-credit scene is perhaps the most baffling of the bunch. It takes place in a secret lab run by none other than Doctor Octopus, who is somehow alive and well despite being killed by Spider-Man back in the original film. He is seen working on some sort of mysterious device when someone (possibly Electro) breaks into the lab and demands that he hand over whatever it is he’s working on. Doctor Octopus refuses, and a fight ensues. The scene ends with the intruder getting the upper hand and Doctor Octopus begging for his life.

We have no idea what any of this means, but it’s possible that it could be setting up a future appearance by Doctor Octopus in one of the upcoming Spider-Man films.
