Dr. Strange has two end credit scenes
Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange” has two scenes during the credits, one at the beginning and one at the end.
The first scene shows Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) breaking into a man’s home and stealing what looks like a power-restraining bracelet off his wrist. “You’re a disgusting criminal,” Mordo tells the man. “You deserve far worse.” He then disappears in a flash of light.
The second scene is a huddle between Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), and Wong (Benedict Wong). Strange has just rescued the world from Dormammu, but The Ancient One isn’t happy about it. She scolds him for breaking the rules set in place to keep powerful beings like Dormammu from taking over Earth. Wong tries to defend Strange, but The Ancient One is not amused. “If you break one of the laws of nature, you risk ending everything,” she says before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
The first end credit scene is a post-credits scene
In the first end credit scene, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) visits Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to ask for his help in finding Odin (Anthony Hopkins). Strange says that he cannot help because he is guarding the Sanctum Sanctorum, one of the three places where Earth’s magical defenses meet. When Thor asks why Strange is doing this, Strange replies, “Because it’s my job… now.” The scene then shifts to New York City, where the Sanctum Sanctorum is located.
The second end credit scene is a mid-credits scene. In this scene, Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) tells an unidentified man that he is going to start eliminating all sorcerers because they are hoarding magic and not using it for good. The man asks Mordo not to kill him and Mordo replied, “That’s not my plan… yet.”
The second end credit scene is a mid-credits scene
At the end of the movie, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) is seen sitting in Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) office when he gets a call from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). He asks her to come to his Sanctum Sanctorum in New York, and she obliges.
This is the first end-credits scene.
The second end credit scene is a mid-credits scene. In it, Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) is seen in Hong Kong taking the power away from a woman who was using it for bad. He says that he’s going to “clean up” the world by taking away everyone’s magical abilities, because he doesn’t believe that they should have them.
The post-credits scene is a brief scene that shows Dr. Strange meeting with Thor
After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, Thor comes to Earth to recruit Doctor Strange in his search for Thanos. However, their meeting is cut short when Wong teleports them both away to help defend Zealand from Thanos’ forces.
The post-credits scene is a brief scene that shows Dr. Strange meeting with Thor. Thor tells Strange that he needs his help to find Thanos, but Strange says that he cannot help him because he already used the Time Stone to view all possible futures and knows that they will all lose if they try to confront Thanos directly. However, he does give Thor the location of Thanos, saying that it is “the only way”.
The mid-credits scene is a longer scene that shows Dr. Strange recruiting a new member for the Avengers
In the mid-credits scene, Dr. Strange is seen recruiting a new member for the Avengers. He travels to an alternate reality where he meets with Loki, who is being held prisoner. Loki is surprised that Dr. Strange has come to recruit him, but Dr. Strange tells him that he needs all the help he can get to defeat Thanos. Loki agrees to join the Avengers and Dr. Strange teleports him away.
The post-credits scene shows Thanos sitting in a field of flowers, reflecting on his victory over the Avengers. He is then joined by his daughter Gamora, who he killed in order to obtain the Infinity Stones.
