How to Request a Credit Limit Increase from Chase

If you’re a Chase credit cardholder in good standing, you may be able to get a credit limit increase by requesting one. Here’s how to do it.

Log in to your Chase account online
1. Log in to your Chase account online. You will need to have an online account in order to request an increase to your credit limit.
2. Go to the “Credit Services” tab, and then click on “Request a Credit Limit Increase.”
3. Fill out the requested information, which will include your current credit limit, the amount of the increase you are requesting, and the reason for requesting the increase.
4. Click on “Submit Request.”
You will generally receive a decision within 30 days. If your request is approved, you will be notified of your new credit limit. If your request is denied, you will be given the reason for the denial.
Go to the “Credit Services” tab
1. Go to the “Credit Services” tab.
2. Click on “Request a credit limit increase.”
3. Enter your name, address, and Social Security number.
4. Type in the desired credit limit increase amount.
5. Include a statement explaining why you are requesting the increase.
6. Click “Submit.”
Click on “Request a credit limit increase”
1. Go to https://www.chase.com/.
2. Log in to your account by entering your user ID and password.
3. Click on the “Credit Cards” tab near the top of the page.
4. Find the credit card for which you’d like to request a credit limit increase and click on the “Details” button.
5. Scroll down to the “Request a credit limit increase” link and click on it.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete your request for a credit limit increase.—–
Enter the requested credit limit amount
You will need to enter the requested credit limit amount. Chase will review your request and decide if they can offer you a credit limit increase. If you are approved, you will receive a notice in the mail with your new credit limit.
Click “Submit”
To request a credit limit increase from Chase, log in to your account and click on the “Request a credit limit increase” link. You will be prompted to enter your requested credit limit and reason for requesting the increase. Once you have submitted your request, a customer service representative will review your account and determine if your request can be approved.
